The Daft Punk guys willingly showed themselves without helmets, kind of
Even though the world was treated to a grainy image of what the members of Daft Punk look like without their signature helmets a couple years ago, the hunt to violate their robotic privacy continues. Luckily, the duo was willing to play ball recently, albeit with a catch: They posed helmetless for a 3D scan so sculptor Xavier Veilhan could include them in a series of sculptures called The Producers. Veilhan’s project also features plywood versions of other music greats, including Quincy Jones, Giorgio Moroder, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Rick Rubin, The Neptunes (Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams), Nigel Godrich, and Philippe Zdar.
