The Into The Spider-Verse script is now online, so you can enjoy it without all of that animation
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is a lot of fun, with wacky jokes that acknowledge the entire history of Spider-Man stories and the many alternate versions of the webslinger, but some people might not appreciate the animated film’s insistence on, you know, animating everything. Luckily, for those people—and anyone’s who parents have banned them from seeing Into The Spider-Verse like in that Simpsons episode—Sony has released Phil Lord and Rodney Rothman’s full script for the movie, allowing everyone to experience it without having to watch the characters move around. It’s sort of like reading a Spider-Man comic book, but without any pictures (if only there was a word for a comic book without pictures).
