Much as their new album Brill Bruisers reflects a more laid-back and placid vibe, so too does the schedule for The New Pornographers’ 2015 tour schedule reveal a preference for large, freewheeling festivals in Europe, and fewer intimate shows in the States. The band has announced a series of shows this summer, beginning in late May and winding up in July, that leans heavily on large European performances, with only a half-dozen American stops, two of those being festivals as well. So if you happen to be a fan who also decided to backpack across Europe this summer, you’re in luck. The rest of us will have a slightly tougher time of it. The complete list of dates is below.
