Anyone who’s ever spent hours staring glassy-eyed into their iDevice playing Angry Birds should watch this cautionary tale (adapted from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Game”) in which the crew of the Enterprise falls victim to the twittering, oinking siren song of the highly addictive game. Or if you’re more of the killjoy/Wesley Crusher type who insists on resisting the joys of the awesomely smashy-bashy app, perhaps you can derive a lesson in how to get your friends and loved ones to snap out of their Angry Birds stupor next time they’re too busy trying to get a golden egg to listen to your awesome story: blind them with a strobe light.
