Peacock’s new three-part documentary The Wolves Of Real Estate: The Alexander Brothers pulls back the curtain on the dangerous, predatory behavior of three siblings who rose to fame in the business world. The documentary focuses on brothers Oren, Alon, and Tal Alexander, who made a name for themselves in luxury real estate and private security in Miami and New York, while perpetuating a party lifestyle and, behind closed doors, taking advantage of women. “My goal is to hunt a client and hunt a female,” one of the brothers says in disturbing interview footage featured in the documentary, which is based on Bridget Read and James D. Walsh’s New York Magazine article, “Everyone Knew About the A-Team.” The Wolves Of Real Estate includes interviews with female survivors who reflect on coming forward about their alleged experiences. “I didn’t know what to even call what they did to me,” one woman says. People in the documentary also recall hearing rumors about the siblings’ unsavory behavior—but the extent of it fully came to light when all three brothers became defendants in lawsuits that alleged sexual assault, abuse, and rape.
During the five-week trial in a federal courtroom in New York earlier this year, prosecutors said that they spoke to more than 60 victims who alleged they were raped by at least one of the Alexander brothers in the past 20 years. The brothers were accused of luring women with their wealth and expensive lifestyles. In March, the three siblings were found guilty of sex trafficking. Their sentencing is set for later this month.
