TNT makes Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay’s cocaine dreams come true
TNT has officially given the green light to Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay’s cocaine drama pilot, a project that, unlike a big pile of cocaine, has been allowed to sit undisturbed for over six years. Bruckheimer and Bay originally wanted to sell the project to HBO, presumably because they could afford more pyrotechnics that way, but now that they’ve landed on basic cable they’ll have to make do with one Aerosmith song and two exploding helicopters per episode. (The duo presumably settled on TNT due to its association with their beloved explosions.)
