Years after he spent a decade trying to bring superheroes to The CW, Tom Welling has a new comic book show. According to Variety, the former Clark Kent from Smallville has joined the cast of Fox’s Lucifer, but instead of Superman, he’ll be “an accomplished police lieutenant” who is both well-respected and reserved, but also “charming, charismatic, and handsome.” Unfortunately (for him), he quickly develops a relationship with Lauren German’s Decker, which makes Tom Ellis’ Lucifer Jealous—because apparently the devil isn’t really a nice guy.
