Casey Wilson, Kristin Chenoweth joining the reality stars on Traitors

Fresh off another seven Emmy wins, The Traitors has revealed the next group of people to undergo some psychological fun and games at the hands of Alan Cumming. Maybe it’s the awards clout that has lifted the show, but this has to be the Traitors cast with the most caché yet. This time around, there are actually people famous for something other than being on reality television, and comedians who aren’t Michael Rappaport. 

This season will feature star of stage and screen Kristin Chenoweth, Happy Endings star and Saturday Night Live alum Casey Wislon, Lost star Dominic Monaghan, and Hacks‘ Johnny Sibilly. Of course, there’s plenty of reality stars to be found, too, including Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives/Dancing With The Stars/Chicago on Broadway alumnus Whitney Leavitt, Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City‘s Bronwyn Newport, Bianca Del Rio of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and former Bachelor Joey Graziadei. There’s also a couple of athletes: Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim and former Jacksonville Jaguar Rashad Jennings. 

There’s no official release date yet for the new season, though it’s expected to arrive next year. There’s also a bit of disagreement online about whether this is season five or season six of the show; the currently airing season, subtitled “New Blood,” is the fifth outing of the series, but is the first U.S. season of the show to only feature non-celebrities.
