UPDATED: Jason Jones is leaving The Daily Show to become a sitcom dad
In the nine and a half years Jason Jones has been a correspondent for The Daily Show, he’s covered the Olympics, visited “Real America”, and even been involved in an international incident that his boss, Jon Stewart, later made into a major motion picture. But Jones has grown since then, and changed. He wants to spend more time with his real-life family, which conveniently overlaps with his sitcom family now that TBS has ordered the sitcom he created with his wife, fellow Daily Show correspondent Samantha Bee, to series.
