Warner Bros. trying yet again with a Looney Tunes movie written by Jenny Slate
Warner Bros.' many attempts to launch big-screen revivals of Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny, Pepe Le Pew, and even the Acme Corporation have so far mostly blown up in their face, covering them in hilarious streaks of soot and leaving their teeth dangling piano keys, literally speaking. That has literally happened. And yet, like a Wile E. Coyote with a hilarious, desperate need to maximize the profit potential of his languishing franchise, they're still trying—this time with the big pile of live-action/CGI birdseed that is a full Looney Tunes ensemble movie, the first since 2003's Looney Tunes: Back In Action did not, ironically, put the Looney Tunes franchise back in action.
