On her YouTube channel Kiki G., makeup artist Katelyn Galloway shares the usual reviews and tutorials. But she’s also got some less conventional interests as well. Her very first video was a 15-minute tutorial on how to make movie quality zombie makeup. And her latest offering is a time-lapse video in which she transforms herself into Ron Swanson:
It’s a testament to the power of makeup that Galloway’s finished look is so frighteningly accurate. You might not mistake her for Nick Offerman, but it’s pretty damn close. She also helps sell the illusion by adopting a Ron Swanson-esque demeanor for the entire process and even lip syncing some of his lines at the end. Swanson once advised, “Never half-ass two things. Whole-ass one thing.” Galloway clearly took that advice.
