Better Call Saul viewers might not know Little Barrie, but they know the group’s output. The band wrote and performed the show’s opening theme, the twangy, somewhat depressing take on psychedelic country. (Little Barrie’s namesake and guitarist, Barrie Cadogan, is also the guitarist in Primal Scream, for readers who aren’t hip to Saul.) The group’s latest record, Shadow, came out last year and was produced by Edwyn Collins. Below, The A.V. Club is premiering the new video for that album’s “Eyes Were Young.” A drive-in themed trip, the clip is as atmospheric as the track, which fans of acts like the Dandy Warhols and the aforementioned Primal Scream will probably be able to get into.
