William Shatner thinks Gene Roddenberry “is twirling in his grave” over new Star Trek
With a property as sprawling as Star Trek, of course everyone has their own opinions on which entry is the best and which entry is their favorite. (Those might be two distinct answers!) It shouldn’t be a surprise that OG Star Trek star William Shatner thinks OG Star Trek is the truest version, not just because of his involvement but because of creator Gene Roddenberry’s particular vision. “He was in the military, and he was a policeman,” Shatner says in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “There are strict rules and you abide by the rules. Drake Bell responds as Ned’s Declassified cast jokes about Nickelodeon allegations
Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV aired its final episodes on Monday, and the Investigation Discovery docuseries has already made waves with fans of late ’90s to early 2000s Nickelodeon as well as child stars of that era. Nickelodeon exposé Quiet On Set stirs responses from fans, former employees, and Drake Bell
Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV aired its first episodes on Investigation Discovery on Sunday, prompting its audience to reexamine the Dan Schneider era of Nickelodeon. The allegations in the docuseries range from Schneider creating a toxic work environment for children and adults alike (particularly for women) to one of the adult actors from All That sexually abusing the young star Drake Bell. The four-part docuseries continues on Monday night (and can be streamed afterwards on Max), but the first two episodes are prompting responses from the doc’s subjects and from others who were connected to Nickelodeon at the time. – Mary Kate Carr Read More

Chief among the accusers is Drake Bell, the star of Drake & Josh, who says he was abused by former Nickelodeon dialogue coach Brian Peck. Bell accuses Brian Peck of sexual abuse beginning when he was 15. He said the abuse was “extensive” and “brutal.” Read More
