The biggies

The Four Seasons (Netflix, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)

Tina Fey adapts the 1981 rom-com The Four Seasons into this eight-part dramedy, in which she stars alongside Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Marco Calvani. The miniseries centers on three couples who are longtime friends whose lives are upended when one pair decides to split up. The A.V. Club‘s review publishes Thursday.


Another Simple Favor (Prime Video, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)

Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick, and director Paul Feig reunite for this sequel to their 2018 comedic thriller. In Another Simple Favor, Stephanie (Kendrick) goes to Italy to attend the wedding of her frenemy, Emily(Lively), who is somehow out of jail already. The ensemble also includes Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Aparna Nancherla, Bashir Salahuddin, Michele Morrone, and Allison Janney.

Eva Longoria: Searching For Spain (CNN, Sunday, 9 p.m.)

After exploring Mexico in her previous travel series for CNN, Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria sets her sights on Spain, digging into different territories of the country and learning about its culture, food, and history.


Carême (Apple TV+, Wednesday, 12:01 a.m.)

This French-language series chronicles Marie-Antoine Carême (Benjamin Voisin), who overcame his poor upbringing to become a popular celebrity chef in Paris during the Napoleonic era. In Apple TV+’s telling of his story, his fame comes with a price when he’s recruited to spy for the country.


Turning Point: The Vietnam War (Netflix, Wednesday, 3:01 a.m.) 

Directed by Brian Knappenberger, this five-episodes docuseries unpacks an 11-year stretch of the conflict with the help of archived news footage and White House recordings.
