What's on TV this week—Doctor Who's holiday special and Letterkenny's final season
Plus, Slow Horses ends its action-packed third round, Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson look back on the year, and more

Welcome to What’s On, our weekly picks of must-watch shows. Here’s what you need to watch from Sunday, December 24 to Thursday, December 28. All times are Eastern. [Note: The weekend edition of What’s On drops on Fridays.]
The biggies
Doctor Who: The Church On Ruby Road (Disney+, Monday, 1:30 p.m.)
After airing three episodes featuring David Tennant’s return to Doctor Who, the show launches a Christmas special to properly introduce Ncuti Gatwa as the franchise’s 15th Doctor. The Sex Education and Barbie actor made his debut earlier this year, but he’ll properly lead his episode with The Church Of Ruby Road alongside co-stars Millie Gibson, Anita Dobson, Michelle Greenidge, and Davina McCall.
Letterkenny (Hulu, Tuesday, 12:01 a.m.)
So long, Letterkenny! Canada’s scathing slice-of-life sitcom comes to an end with season 12. Created by and starring Jared Keeso, the show is set in a rural town where residents often clash for the silliest reasons—but they’ve always got the sophisticated puns to prove their point. But hey, at least we still have the show’s fun spinoff, Shoresy.
