Introducing Endless Mode: A New Games & Anime Site from Paste
After years of talks, Universal Studios has announced that the musical sensation Wicked will get its big-screen adaptation under director Stephen Daldry. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be released December 20, 2019. No word on whether Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth will reprise their roles, but Wicked writer Winnie Holzman and music/lyrics composer Stephen Schwartz are set to return for the adaptation.
