So, so many Yellowjackets are dead, but, regardless, long live Yellowjackets. Shauna Shipman (Melanie Lynskey and Sophie Nélisse) will continue her reign of terror in season four, which Paramount+ with Showtime announced today.

Season three ended over a month ago with no renewal notice on the horizon, so fans can finally release that deep breath they’ve been holding. Well, for a little while at least—there are definitely more hunts and horrors to come for our favorite suburban-soccer-team-turned-queens-of-the-wilderness.

Spoilers ahead; leave the cabin if you don’t want to know. From the beginning, the show has employed a split-timeline format, one following the girls as stranded teens in the ’90s (played by the likes of Jasmin Savoy Brown, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson) and the other following the handful of survivors as adults (played by Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, and formerly Lauren Ambrose) in the present day. Season three didn’t bring these timelines together, but took a major step toward that eventual conclusion when Natalie (Sophie Thatcher) finally managed to make contact with the outside world on a satellite phone. While the finale did answer the series-long question of the identity of “Pit Girl” (R.I.P. Mari), there are still many more mysteries to be solved; not the least of which is what the hell the remaining adult survivors are going to do about Shauna.
