Kait Eldridge has always been the heart of Big Eyes. Though she’s spent time in Cheeky and P.S. Eliot, with Big Eyes Eldridge has been able to focus on her vision, which often manifests itself in the form of garage-rock-tinged pop songs. Today, Big Eyes is releasing its latest EP via Don Giovanni Records—with vinyl following on Greenway Records—and The A.V. Club is premiering the video for its lead track, “Local Celebrity,” below. The song builds on the foundation of its last full-length, 2013’s Almost Famous, and is accompanied by a black-and-white video that’s sure to delight fans of vintage zombie movies.
