Bill Gates to nerd it up on The Big Bang Theory this season

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is the latest tech wiz to drop by The Big Bang Theory. As CNN reports, the billionaire philanthropist will guest star in a March episode of the ever-popular CBS sitcom, joining a long line of nerdy icons like Stephen Hawking, Buzz Aldrin, Steve Wozniak, and Elon Musk.

Gates will play himself, of course, as he visits Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) workplace. Her husband Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and the rest of his geeky friends will reportedly “go to great lengths in their effort to meet the billionaire innovator,” which sounds about right. The computer mogul has been mentioned on the show before—in “The Toast Derivation,” we learned he’d punched Sheldon (Jim Parsons) in the face for disparaging his humanitarian efforts. There’s no word on whether things will be any friendlier between the two when Gates guest stars on the show.
