Last week Broken Beak released Some Nerve, its debut album on Near Mint Records. The A.V. Club has written about the band a couple of times, but as it embarks on its first tour, the band’s decided to make Some Nerve available for free download for this weekend only. The brainchild of Beau Brynes, Broken Beak slowly grew into a full band—bringing in Modern Baseball’s Brendan Lukens on guitar—and crafting a record that sees Brynes’s one-man compositions become fully realized .
