Chicago, bring your dolls to see Annabelle: Creation early and for free
Annabelle: Creation will finally give us some more backstory on the spooky doll that helped kick off the Conjuring cinematic universe, and much like Chucky in Child’s Play, it turns out that there’s more going on with this scary toy than it simply being a scary toy. For anyone who lives in Chicago and is eager for another reason to be creeped out by antique dolls, The A.V. Club is giving some free passes to an early screening of Annabelle: Creation.
The screening will be held at the ShowPlace ICON on Roosevelt on Tuesday, August 8, and all you need to do to get free passes is enter your information at this link. Remember: Advance screenings are often intentionally overbooked, so be sure to arrive early if you want to secure a seat. If you’re too scared of haunted dolls to see the movie early, Annabelle: Creation will be in theaters on August 11.
