Chicago Fire’s Christine Evangelista will pretend to be in love with The Arrangement

The Arrangement, E!’s new series about a staged romance that’s almost certainly not inspired by Scientology-scripted love stories, has found its female lead. Deadline reports that Christine Evangelista will play Megan Morrison, a young actress who is drawn into the titular arrangement with Hollywood superstar Kyle West (Dallas’ Josh Henderson). Evangelista was part of the un-Lucky 7 before landing a recurring role on the ill-fated show’s competition, Chicago Fire. She’ll soon be seen marveling at the sight of a senior citizen in the workplace in The Intern.

The Arrangement also recently secured Michael Vartan (Alias) to play Kyle’s friend and mentor, Terence Hoffman. Terence also happens to be Kyle’s producing partner, so he will probably have a stake in the arranged romance. It’s not known if Terence will improvise a bit by falling for Megan, thereby creating unrest and a love triangle , but if that happens it might mean that the inspiration for the show was James Franco and not Tom Cruise.
