“How do you surprise someone who can go back in time and warn himself?” Hey, good question! And one that will be explored in the third season of Noah Hawley’s mind-bending Legion, which will end following its upcoming third season.

We weren’t huge fans of the season two finale, which was baffling in just how much it discarded “so much of our understanding of, and connection to, what’s come before it.” Still, the show’s vibrant, kaleidoscopic vision looks as sumptuous as ever in the season’s new trailer, and the idea of David as a Manson-like cult leader is an intriguing one.
