Dinosaur Jr. gives a glimpse of what it’s not with new album and tour

Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not
Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not

Dinosaur Jr. announced last month that it would be opening for Jane’s Addiction for a few shows this summer, as well as headlining Boston’s Living Colour Festival with the Los Angeles rockers. But if you were worried you wouldn’t be able to snag tickets to the handful of shows, or otherwise felt that you could do without seeing Perry Farrell this year, J. Mascis and crew have just announced a new album and extensive world tour. This is big news, what with the dozens of dates across the globe and 11-track album, but don’t worry—Henry Rollins is here to talk you through it.

Dinosaur Jr.’s Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not will be out on Jagjaguwar on August 5. You can preorder via the band’s site, or go the iTunes or Amazon route (hey, you don’t have a soul anyway, and time is money, or vice versa). The track list is below, followed by the tour dates.

1. Goin Down
2. Tiny
3. Be A Part
4. I Told Everyone
5. Love Is…
6. Good To Know
7. I Walk For Miles
8. Lost All Day
9. Knocked Around
10. Mirror
11. Left/Right
