The Chicago Tribune’s Greg Kot quotes “reliable industry sources” in saying that Eminem, Foo Fighters, and Muse are the three major headliners booked so far for this year’s Aug. 5 through Aug. 7 festival in Grant Park. While organizers had no comment, and the complete lineup won’t be confirmed until April at least, Kot’s usually pretty reliable about these things. Foo Fighters definitely seems plausible, considering the group has a new album coming out in the spring and is already confirmed to appear at Sasquatch, while Muse has its own festival dates scheduled for the summer. Eminem concerts are pretty rare these days, but then, he’s doing whatever he can to bring back Detroit. Also on the bill, most likely: Best Coast, Girl Talk, Crystal Castles, and Lykke Li.
