Rick Ross was nearly shot, Biggie Smalls-style, early this morning in Ft. Lauderdale, as he was leaving his 37th birthday party. According to police reports, an unidentified car pulled up next to the rapper’s Rolls-Royce and fired “dozens” of shots, none of which managed to hit Ross’ car. Ross hit the gas and tried to speed away, but crashed into a nearby building. Neither Ross nor his passenger, fashion designer Shateria L. Moragne-el, were injured. The shooters fled the scene before officers could arrive and no arrests have been made so far, though the cops are currently gathering nearby surveillance footage.
