Way back in 2013 Hieroglyphics released The Kitchen, a record that, true to the collective’s form, worked the precarious balance between humor and stoicism. All these years later, the group has released a new video for “Golden,” one of the album’s best tracks. Made by animator Steve Cartoccio, the clip follows a shape-shifting MC as he run through his repertoire of personalities, including Batman, King Kong, and Friday The 13th’s Jason Voorhees.

There are a number of Hieroglyphics-related tour dates happening this summer, including some Deltron 3030 and Souls Of Mischief gigs. Dates are all listed on the Hieroglyphics website.
