Here's what's coming to (and leaving from) HBO in December
For some reason, December is the biggest month of the year for Christmas and general holiday-themed entertainment, but HBO is taking a slightly odd approach to the season with the new offerings on its HBO Now and HBO Go streaming services. For example, subscribers will be able to watch The Muppet Christmas Carol, Jack Frost, and Krampus, and while all three are related to the holidays, they also involve a lot more death than some more kid-friendly winter movies. As far as new movies go, HBO is also getting Unforgettable, Deepwater Horizon, Logan, and King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword—a movie that was practically made for waiting until it’s available for free on a streaming service.
The full list of what’s coming to HBO Go and Now in December is below, followed by the list of what’s leaving at the end of the month (including Krampus and The Muppet Chrstmas Carol).
