It looks like Jay-Z is doing the score for The Great Gatsby

It turns out that when Baz Luhrmann included Watch The Throne's "No Church In The Wild" in his trailer for The Great Gatsby, it wasn't just a thematic nod to the continued emptiness of affluence and the awesomeness of threesomes, or even just a nod to the fact that everything uses that song now. It may have been our first hint that Jay-Z will be providing the actual score for Luhrmann's 3-D reimagining, a longstanding rumor that seems to have gained some traction after it was announced by his potential collaborator on the project, producer/songwriter The Bullitts.

Known (ostensibly) for his work with Jay Electronica—when he isn't known as "the little brother of Seal," anyway—the man whose real name is Jeymes Samuel recently tweeted, "Jay-Z and myself have been working tirelessly on the score for the upcoming #CLASSIC The Great Gatsby!," suggesting that Luhrmann's film may go for the same sort of anachronistic spectacle aurally as it will visually, and that Samuel doesn't really know when to use hashtags. Anyway, for those concerned that Jay-Z—despite clearly being familiar with the themes of money, New York, money, reputation, money, and money—could make for an odd, distracting pairing that could further drain the story of its quiet dignity, Samuel reassures, "It is too DOPE for words."
