Drew Pearce—a screenwriter whose past credits include Iron Man 3 and Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation—is currently set to make his directorial debut, with Jodie Foster offering an assist. The Oscar-winning actress has signed on to star as “The Nurse” in Pearce’s upcoming film Hotel Artemis. Plot details on the film are scant, but it’s being described as a near-future thriller set “in its own, distinctive crime universe,” presumably standing in stark contrast to the tired, samey crime universe in which the rest of us are forced to live.
