Meet the grown-up Losers of It: Chapter 2
We’ve been following the casting news about which actors will play the adult versions of the kids from horror success story It with interest, partly because it’s fun to imagine Seth Green taking over the role of adult Richie Tozier, given that when IT came out last year, it was 27 years after Green first played the role (i.e. the exact amount of time that’s elapsed in the story).
But while that particular dream is, sadly, not to be, director Andy Muschietti has finally completed the task of assembling a crew of actors who will step into the Losers’ Club’s much bigger adult shoes for It: Chapter 2. Variety reports Isaiah Mustafa—star of TV series Shadowhunters but probably best known as “the Old Spice guy” from the commercials—has been cast as Mike Hanlon, played by Chosen Jacobs in the first film. Jacobs revealed the news on Instagram, tagging the actor and saying, “You’re one of us now.”
