Netflix stages a Nickelodeon reunion in Hollywood Arts teaser

Netflix is sending a new generation back to a classic TV school, but this time, instead of Hillman College, we’re going back to the high school from Victorious. Netflix unveiled a new trailer for the series Hollywood Arts—named for the performing arts high school the characters on the original Victorious attended—with Danielle Monet’s Trina Vega returning to teach a new generation of aspiring stars. Hollywood Arts is hardly the first performing arts high school to feature on TV, but it does have a pretty immaculate track record for alumni, having yielded Ariana Grande, Elizabeth Gillies, recent Grammy nominee Leon Thomas, along with lead actor Victoria Justice. Those guys are all front and center in the new trailer, but we’ll have to see whether Netflix is able to pull another Pop Star Academy with this latest crop of talent.
