Though The Silver Chair book, which takes place several decades after The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, does not feature Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie from The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe, it does have several holdover characters from Dawn Treader, including Eustace Scrubb (previously played by Will Poulter), and, of course, Aslan the Jesus Lion (voiced by Liam Neeson). It’s unknown if David Magee’s screenplay will actually replace these characters for the sake of rebootment, or if Gordon was simply being hyperbolic.
