Orson Welles’ disembodied head stars in this dystopian webseries
In a world where fracking has turned New York City into a desolate wasteland, one girl learns to fight the power with help from Orson Welles’ revived head. You have to at least give the new webseries Everything’s OK points for originality. Billed as a “post-apocalyptic cardboard punk” series that combines animation and live action, Everything’s OK has a tone that’s part satirical, part dark comedy, and part self-serious, as seen in the trailer below. To hide the fact that the world has gone to shit, smiling robots force people to wear “Gogol Glasses,” which project a much more pleasant reality.
