Prophets Of Rage announce debut full-length, share Michael Moore-directed video
Last summer, angry supergroup Prophets Of Rage—featuring members of Rage Against The Machine, Cypress Hill, and Public Enemy—went on a big North American tour, with a stop at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. But the band has been relatively quiet since then. Until today, as Prophets Of Rage has once again emerged to announce The Party’s Over, the group’s first full-length album, on the same day Donald Trump doomed us all to a fiery apocalypse.
The band has also shared the album’s first single, “Unfuck The World,” with a video directed by none other than Michael Moore. The video is basically a recap of all of the horrible shit that has happened in the last year or so, with various protests, that Pepsi ad, and plenty of Trump, and it’s very explicitly trying to be a rallying cry for people to stand up and start fighting to take the country back.
The Party’s Over will be available on September 15, and you can see the Shepard Fairy-designed album art below.
