The former Disney employee cast a who’s who of free-speech activists, including Randy Quaid, Drea de Matteo, and Tony Hinchcliffe, for her word-salad new show.

Roseanne Barr, who “ambien tweet[ed]” her way out of a job in 2018, filmed a secret new TV series in Austin, Texas, last November, called Meemaw, per Page Six. Disney fired Barr from her perch at that Roseanne revival for comparing Michelle Obama aide Valerie Jarrett, who is Black, to an ape and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood on Twitter. Now she can be as racist as her heart desires on Meemaw, where a truly cursed cast of characters will back her up, including Randy Quaid, Drea de Matteo, Wild N Crazy Kids’ Omar Gooding, and guest stars Jon Lovitz and Tony Hinchcliffe as Satan. It’s the perfect assortment of volatile and unhirable “anti-woke” celebrities for a series about a patriotic matriarch of a mixed-race family of doomsday preppers determined to “throw her granddaughter the most fantastic Bat Mitzvah Texas has ever seen.” No word on when or where the secret show will be available, but hopefully that will be a secret too.
