St. Lenox laments his “21st Century Post-Liberal Blues” on new track

St. Lenox vocalist Andrew Choi is exhausted. Blame it on the election season, the all-consuming presence of social media, or just day-to-day anxieties, and Choi’s feeling run down. On “21st Century Post-Liberal Blues,” Choi channels all these feelings into something that reaches for a catharsis. A former Juilliard-trained concert violinist, under the St. Lenox moniker Choi’s thrown classical out the window in favor of his own blend of hip-hop, indie, and jazz. His knack for intricate compositions remains, though, and “21st Century Post-Liberal Blues” is as complex as it is topical. “21st Century Post-Liberal Blues” is available now on iTunes.
