This is not a scam: In its third weekend in theaters, You Can See Everything finally achieved complete victory at the box office, even if it was a narrow one. The Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim-directed documentary following Elizabeth Holmes as she prepares to go to prison dethroned Clayface by just $200,000 when the final tallies came in. Last week, both films also occupied the top two spots in the top ten list, but with Clayface as number one. According to Box Office Mojo, You Can See Everything has opened in 588 new theaters since last weekend.
As you might expect from the top two movies of the week being movies that were previously released, Halloweekend was not much of an event for new movies. The only new release to crack the top then was the filmed concert event BTS World Tour ‘Arirang’ In São Paulo: Live Viewing. Otherwise, the films in the top ten merely shuffled around. Wicker jumped to number three after debuting last week in fifth place; Other Mommy rebounded slightly for the horror holiday, rising from number seven to number six; Resident Evil made it back into the top ten, moving from 11th place up to ninth. The John Turturro-starring The Only Living Pickpocket In New York, which only played in six theaters last weekend, now jumps into the top ten as it expands into 1,112 new theaters. Wildwood, meanwhile, had the biggest fall from last week, dropping from number three to seven.
