You on point, Mike?: Q-Tip says Rapaport's A Tribe Called Quest documentary doesn't have band's support

The other day we showed the trailer for Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels Of A Tribe Called Quest, Michael Rapaport's documentary about the legendary hip-hop outfit. Like every documentary trailer, it featured a host of talking heads extolling the group's virtues, but also had quite a bit of serious behind-the-scenes bickering between principals Phife Dawg and Q-Tip—and at least one of the members of ATCQ isn't pleased.

Q-Tip took to his Twitter account a couple hours ago to distance himself from the film in a series of tweets:

I am not in support of the a tribe called quest documentary.

Tip—a.k.a. Kamaal Ibn John Fareed—didn't elaborate on whatever requests were made for the film. Maybe Rapaport will address them when the film debuts at Sundance next month.

You know what would make everyone feel better? A trip to Carvel.
