We know many of you are going to make a beeline to Best Worst Movie, the much-admired documentary about the making of Troll 2, but please spare a moment to peruse some of the older titles getting spiffy reissues: like Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times, arriving on Blu-ray from Criterion, and the restored version of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis, coming from Kino. And if you’ve never seen it, Bruce Brown’s classic surfer documentary The Endless Summer is one you’ll want to store away for winter, when its ‘60s beach music and gorgeous footage of global surf spots will beckon, like a warm breeze across the dunes.
