Fox realizes it's probably a bad time to show hurricane-themed episodes of Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, and American Dad
In a move reminiscent of those Simpsons reruns being pulled so as not to be construed as mocking the Japanese nuclear disaster, Fox has announced that it will postpone this Sunday’s episodes of Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, and American Dad due to the storms that have devastated large swaths of the South. The shows had planned a crossover event (similar to NBC’s old “Blackout Thursday” gimmick) where all their characters would come together after a hurricane hits the East Coast—which, yeah, probably not the best time to do that. Instead, all of those episodes have been bumped to next season, when hopefully there will be no more tornadoes or other natural disasters, ever.
