While the future would seem bright for Game Of Thrones’ Jack Gleeson—as he transitions from playing the show’s King Joffrey to portraying untold numbers of hateful characters—as always, Joffrey has other designs in mind. The 21-year-old actor says that, after his time on the series is through, he will leave acting behind, moving on to manipulate the world through relentless humanitarianism. “The lifestyle that comes with being an actor in a successful TV show isn't something I gravitate towards,” Gleeson said, cruelly turning his back on all those needy, dung-covered television producers begging in the streets. Instead, Gleeson says he was inspired by a recent trip to Haiti undertaken with the aid agency Goal, and now hopes to “use the celebrity I’ve got” from Game Of Thrones to help bring awareness to all the impoverished people there and elsewhere—thus slowly building an empire of generosity, of which he will be its unforgiving ruler.
