If you’ve ever wanted to see Keanu Reeves deploy the same level of cold-eyed, monotone obsession to mad science and cloning people that he does to avenging dead dogs in the John Wick franchise, you’re in luck: the trailer for Reeves’ new film, Replicas, was debuted at New York Comic-Con earlier today.
The trailer sees the Bill & Ted star atttempting to rebuild his family—literally—after a car accident kill his wife and kids. Thomas Middleditch co-stars as Reeves’ not-so-trusted assistant, whose shifting loyalties probably should have been obvious from the moment Thomas Middleditch was cast in the part. Directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff, Replicas is apparently still in production, and is listed as “coming soon.”
