Chris Pratt is done runnin' in new The Terminal List trailer

As you can plainly see in this tension-riddled trailer for The Terminal List, Chris Pratt’s days of quasi-Punisher playing aren’t over by half. However, his lean, grizzled, haunted sniper character, James Reece, appears to have set his eponymous to-do (or “to-off”) list aside for what comes next. Based on True Believer, book two of former Navy SEAL sniper Jack Carr’s novel series, this season looks to expand Reece’s termination list while also dancing around the fact that, um, he’s added his own name to it. Yet fighting one’s demons while simultaneously fighting elusive terror threats is the stuff of drama in assault-rifile-totin’ yarns such as these, and besides, it’s not like Reece is on his own after the fallout of season one.

Among season two’s expanded cast is Gabriel Luna as Freddy Strain, a figure from Reece’s past who arrives with a presidential pardon for his actions last season and a new lease on life—if “living” is indeed what Reece is thinking about doing when he’s finished with his state-sanctioned killing. His new target: Mohammed Farooq (Dar Salim), previously seen in the spinoff The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, who’s carrying out attacks using methods that should feel familiar to Reece. Perhaps Farooq’s reappearance at this point in James’ terminating life will complicate those visions of Taylor Kitsch that keep popping up in his mind—for what is a haunted Navy SEAL sniper without a coterie of ghosts to keep him company? Joining Luna and Salim this season are Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, Jeremy Bobb, and Shiraz Tzarfati.
