Kicking itself for not being the first incompetently made right-wing vigilante movie to market this year, The Daily Wire’s union-busting action flick that dropped disgraced actor Jonathan Majors out a window has a trailer, and it doesn’t disappoint. The trailer for Run Hide Fight: Infidels, a sequel to the decaying conservative brand’s 2020 school-shooter epic, Run Hide Fight, depicts the world in Ben Shapiro’s image. Majors plays a retired Delta Force guy and best-selling author on a college speaking tour, much to the chagrin of protesting students, who shamefully don’t believe every Muslim is a terrorist to national security. Nevertheless, when Sharia Law comes to campus, there’s only one man who can prevent the rare mass shooting not perpetrated by a white man: An actor who in 2023 was found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend.
The trailer is what one would expect from Fox News Jr, depicting an America on the cusp of being overtaken by terrorists as brainwashed white college students find themselves in league with ISIS. Frankly, if those kids just stood with Israel and stayed quiet while the country committed what the U.N. declared a genocide, none of this would be happening. It’s all built in the mold of Citizen Vigilante, Uwe Boll’s entry into the racist serial killer genre, and there’s no reason to doubt that Infidels won’t also get the rub of the world’s richest white supremacists. Though, contrary to Armie Hammer, who cried crocodile tears that the movie he made was far more hateful than he anticipated, Majors is “totally 1000% behind” the film’s plot, which pits him against “radical Islamic terrorists” who “hijack a liberal college’s pro-Palestine encampment to enforce barbaric Sharia law on students and execute infidels in a makeshift caliphate.” Guys and bots with Roman statue avatars on X, the Everything App, are going to say they love it but will never actually watch this movie.
The film made headlines for numerous reasons a few months ago. Due to The Daily Wire’s inability to create a safe set for its cast and crew, Jonathan Majors fell out of a window after a stunt went wrong. Meanwhile, the film’s union crew walked off set due to an unspecified “series of labor issues.” No worries, though, Bonfire Legend, the production company behind the shoot, assures shocked onlookers in the press, “We are too busy being bad asses, blowing sh*t up, flying helicopters, and killing movie terrorists to concern ourselves with four assholes with signs on the sidewalk and their illegitimate ‘strike.'” It’s also worth noting that The Daily Wire is hemorrhaging money as its motor-mouthed star host and CEO, Ben Shapiro, hemorrhages subscribers.
Assuming it isn’t leaked on X before then, Run Hide Fight: Infidels premieres September 16.
