South Park is giving away its “Lorde” song, ya ya ya
Last week South Park did a Lorde parody that was so good, people actually thought it was a Lorde song, an excellent example of why South Park continues to be relevant in its 18th season. The episode’s main subplot concerned Randy Marsh’s secret double life as 17-year-old pop star Lorde, and seems to have been concocted mainly to make fun of a Spin article criticizing a Lorde joke on a previous episode of South Park. But Eric Thurm can tell you more about that in his writeup of the episode, which you can now read while listening to Randy/Lorde’s breakout hit from the episode, “Push (Feeling Good on a Wednesday).” South Park Studios released the full song, performed by Australian pop singer Sia, as an mp3 on Twitter earlier today, and you can get it for free by clicking the link in this tweet:
Personally, I’m still waiting for an extended version of “Burn Down Hot Topic,” but maybe that’s just me.
