The biggies

I Love LA (HBO, Sunday, 10:30 p.m.) 

After Adults and Overcompensating, Rachel Sennott adds to this year’s Gen Z-focused hangout comedies with I Love LA. She plays a woman who works at a talent agency in Hollywood and whose codependent friend group spirals when her influencer BFF (played by Odessa A’zion) moves to town. Leighton Meester, Moses Ingram, Josh Hutcherson, and Jordan Firstman co-star. The A.V. Club will recap the show weekly.


All Her Fault (Peacock, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)

In her return to TV after Succession, Sarah Snook leads the suspenseful All Her Fault as Marissa Irvine, whose 5-year-old son gets kidnapped. As tries to figure out why he was taken, she realizes that the culprit might be closer to home than she realized. Jake Lacy plays Marissa’s husband, while Michael Peña stars as the investigating police officer. Look for The A.V. Club‘s review on Wednesday.


Pluribus (Apple TV, Friday, 12:01 a.m.)

Vince Gilligan reunites with Rhea Seehorn for the Albuquerque-set psychological sci-fi series Pluribus. The Better Call Saul actor plays Carol Sturka, who’s immune from a virus that has turned the global population into happy citizens. She embarks on a critical mission to figure out what’s wrong and fix whatever has caused this dystopia. The A.V. Club will recap the show weekly.

Crutch (Paramount+, Monday, 3:01 a.m.)

This spin-off of CBS’ The Neighborhood centers on Francois “Frank” Crutchfield (Tracy Morgan), an empty nester and show owner in Harlem whose daily routine goes for a toss when both his grown-up kids move back into his home after experiencing personal and professional crises.


All’s Fair (Hulu, Tuesday, 12:01 a.m.)

Ryan Murphy strikes again, this time with a star-studded legal drama. All Fair‘s boasts turns from Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Texans Taylor, Naomi Watts, and Judith Light, and focuses on top-tier divorce lawyers as they juggle wealthy clients, scandalous secrets, and juicy affairs.


Death By Lightning (Netflix, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)

This four-part historical series dwells on the Presidency of James Garfield (Michael Shannon), which a few months before his assassination at the hands of Charles Guiteau (Matthew Macfadyen). Death By Lightning, based on Candice Millard’s book, counts Game Of Thrones‘ D.B. Weiss and David Benioff as executive producers. The ensemble features Betty Gilpin, Nick Offerman, and Bradley Whitford.
