Half the battle of Oscars season, after diligently watching all year and following the political roller coaster of its races, is cleaning up those pesky blind spots. Regular audiences simply didn’t get access to half of the movies that critics and awards voters snuck in during the cold winter months, and only some of those films ever rolled out into theaters in a meaningful way. The dozen or so streamers the other nominated films are spread across will have entire Oscar pools sharing passwords. To make matters a bit easier, The A.V. Club collected where to watch all the 2025 Oscar nominees.
This list is focused on the features, because, if the big-name films seem hard to track down, the shorts—which quietly release to an even more insular community—are usually contained to film festivals. Though some of the short film nominees are available online (usually the documentaries), the best and most reliable way to find them all is as part of their theatrical all-in-one rollout that will start February 14.
When there are multiple available destinations where audiences can access the nominees, we’ve prioritized streaming services that you might already have a subscription to—most of these films that are available to stream are also available to rent. That said, some of the newest releases are still hanging out in theaters, be they wide releases at the multiplex or blink-and-you-miss-’ems at the indie spot on the outskirts of town.
