Percy races to rescue Annabeth in Percy Jackson And The Olympians season 3 trailer

The first official trailer for season three of Percy Jackson And The Olympians is here, and the titular son of Poseidon is caught in a quest to save Annabeth (Leah Sava’ Jeffries) from Atlas (Holt McCallany), Kronos’ second-in-command. “There’s a war coming between the gods and the Titans, and if we’re going to survive it, we must join forces,” Walker Scobell’s Percy Jackson says. The trailer opens with Percy and his friends trying to recruit a reluctant Thalia Grace (Tamara Smart), the daughter of Zeus, to help rescue endangered kids who don’t yet know they’re half-bloods. But after Annabeth gets captured, Percy and his friends battle even more monsters, like the towering Talos, as they try to reach her. We also see glimpses of new cast members, including Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite, Ming-Na Wen as Hera, Dafne Keen as Artemis, Saara Chaudry as Zoë Nightshade, Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo, and Olive Abercrombie as Bianca di Angelo. The upcoming season is based on The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s popular series.
