Tim Meadows’ improv skills helped him on No Activity and Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Tim Meadows capped off 2017 with two great additions to his catalog of comedic performances: Det. Judd Tolbeck in the new show No Activity, and his hilarious turn as a friendly cannibal on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. While most of those parts were scripted, the SNL and Second City alum was able to go off-script and flex his improvisational muscles. In the video above, he talks about improvising for TV and the improvised line that made Andy Samberg laugh.
